As the Contract Management Specialist (Government Contracts), you will play a critical role in ensuring our organization meets evolving cybersecurity compliance standards while maintaining excellence in government contract management. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and federal contracting.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that includes Legal, IT, Compliance, and Operations, working together to support sustainable growth in the defense industrial base. This team is deeply committed to protecting our business and enabling success in a highly regulated environment.
What You Will Do
- Oversee contract negotiation, execution, and compliance with FAR/DFARS and cybersecurity flowdown requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align contract terms with regulatory obligations and business goals.
- Champion a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, assessors, and government customers regarding cybersecurity compliance.
- Lead company-wide initiatives to achieve and maintain CMMC certification readiness.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in U.S. Government contracting (FAR/DFARS).
- Demonstrated experience leading compliance initiatives or readiness programs.
- Proven ability to manage and negotiate government contracts effectively.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Preferred knowledge of CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and DFARS cybersecurity clauses.
- Advanced degree (Master’s, JD) or certifications such as CFCM, CPCM, CMMC Professional/Assessor, CISSP.
- Experience working within the defense industrial base (DIB).
- Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and export compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership in cross-functional project management and stakeholder engagement.
