Under general supervision, the Electric Key Accounts Program Analyst is the primary liaison and advocate for Key account customers. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing partnerships and opportunities with key accounts on business operations, account services, rates, energy management, power quality, and project development.Applicants are required to submit a resume.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- In collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders, implement the City of Georgetown’s Electric Key Account Program.
- Maintain a database of key accounts, including customer contact information, interactions, system, usage, and billing data.
- Provide highly personalized, customer-centric, and dedicated account management processes that result in high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Organize and conduct joint planning sessions throughout the year with the utility personnel and key account stakeholders to better understand and support the customer’s needs.
- Develop and provide quarterly Key customer performance reports focusing on power quality, reliability, and usage.
- Perform periodic review and analysis of billing data and rates to ensure billing accuracy for key accounts.
- Track accounts receivables for Key Account customers to ensure timely payments and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
- In collaboration with the Key account customers, develop load projections to comply with energy portfolio requirements.
- Serve as a single point of contact for key account customers and resolve issues related to rates, billing, metering, power quality, service reliability, facility expansion or modification and internal operations.
- Serve as the point of contact for key account customers during outages and emergencies. Coordinate with Engineering and Operations staff to assist customers in making determinations on how to proceed during outages.
- Serve as project manager with key accounts to manage utility service projects requested by key account customers, prospective, or incoming key account customers.
- Participate in engineering and construction planning meetings.
- Serve as a single point of contact for prospective key account customers and help them through the line extension, construction and onboarding process.
- Serve as a key internal stakeholder in the development of engineering plans and cost estimates for key accounts customers.
- Support the contract negotiation process; Ensure contract compliance.
- Prepare, execute and coordinate implementation of all agreements and documents pertaining to key account activity.
- In collaboration with the Customer Energy Solutions group, develop, implement and manage the Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency and Conservation programs.
- Develop, implement, and manage Commercial and Industrial rebate applications through the ANB eTRACK platform.
- Ensure all EE&C operations comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and abide by the City’s policies and procedures.
- Work with internal engineering group, consultants, contractors, finance and accounting, and permitting for all EE&C related topics.
- Work with the CES Program Manager and the admin group to provide budget data on Commercial EE&C programs
- Provide subject matter expertise and/or coordinate expertise needed to meet the energy needs of the customer.
- Develop acumen in areas of construction, maintenance, metering, rates, demand response, energy efficiency and conservation programs.
- Develop proficiency in utility CIS platform, billing structure, rates, and all applicable tariffs.
- Develop business relationships and maintain awareness of industry trends and activities to help meet customer needs.
- Develop understanding of the planning, development and permitting processes of the City of Georgetown.
- As a member of the customer energy solutions team, contributes to the development and implementation of customer centric energy solutions.
- Represent Electric Utility in efforts related to strategic load growth and economic development and retention activities..

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in economics, finance, business, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- at least one year of utility experience in the areas of utility engineering, operations, and billing.
- Three years of relevant relationship management, engineering, accounting, sales, and/or customer service experience.
- Project management or administrative support experience preferred.
- Experience in developing professional reports.
- Directly related experience may substitute for education.
Knowledge of:
- General Electric design, construction, operations, emergency processes, metering, and billing processes.
- Knowledge of using Accounts Payable and Receivables applications.
- Knowledge of computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data or processing information.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
- Required experience in managing projects across multiple departments.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Acquire the American Public Power Association’s Key Accounts Certificate or similar within 6 months of starting the position.
- Acquire Energy Manager certification within 24 months of starting the position.
Hiring Range: $42.09 - $52.72, hourly.
