It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!

We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.

The Downtown Development Manager and Special Events and Marketing Manager will provide guidance, supervision, and support across all projects. Primary responsibilities will focus on planning for special events happening in the spring, downtown initiatives, and social media marketing. Additional tasks may include support on other departmental projects.

The Main Street Program is currently organizing the Georgetown Swirl, scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026. The student will assist with event planning, including vendor recruitment and communications, and social media marketing for this major fundraiser, which annually raises over $30,000 for the Main Street Façade & Sign Grant Program. This funding supports downtown businesses and property owners in making improvements to their buildings and businesses.

In the Special Events division, preparations are underway for the Red Poppy Festival, happening April 24-26, 2026. The student will support the event planning process, including vendor selection, booth layout, communication with vendors and volunteers, and on-site assistance throughout the festival weekend. This is Georgetown's largest event, drawing over 75,000 attendees.

The student will assist with social media content creation, including event updates, graphics, photography, videography, and short-form video editing—along with maintaining a social media events calendar, drafting captions, scheduling posts, and organizing/responding to messages. The student will also help ensure consistent branding and timely communication across all platforms.
