We are currently looking for a full-time licensed Cosmetologist/Nail Technician to work within our Senior Living Community at The Wesleyan. A current Texas Cosmetology license along with a flair and passion for ensuring residents within a senior living environment look beautiful and feel pampered and cared for will be essential to your success as a Nail Technician at The Wesleyan.

*** This is a part-time hourly, non-commission, non-tip position with a scheduled shift of 9:00AM-4:00PM every Tuesday and Thursday ***

Essential Job Functions:

Make appointments as requested by residents and residents’ family members.

Provide nail services including manicures and pedicures.

Maintain a clean and welcoming salon environment in accordance with State licensure requirements.

Provide other salon services as needed such as shampooing, cutting, hair styling, hair treatments, permanents and hair coloring.

Complete other salon services and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A current Texas License issued by the Texas Cosmetology Commission.
• Must have a minimum of one-year of experience as a licensed Cosmetologist specializing in nail services and preferably within a senior living environment.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Proficiency with various computer applications including a point of sale system.
• A service-minded approach to all aspects of the job are required.
• A passion for working within a senior living, assisted living, and or skilled nursing community preferred.
• Alignment with and enthusiasm about The Wesleyan's culture and core values.
