Material Handler

Total Site Solutions (TSS) in Georgetown, TX,. is seeking a dedicated Material Hadler. The Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse and production environments. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products accurately and in a timely manner to support operational needs. The Material Handler will work closely with inventory control and shipping departments to maintain organized stock levels and facilitate smooth order fulfillment. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and order picking.
  • Ability to read and interpret barcodes and use warehouse management systems.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with assembly line processes and support.
  • Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
  • Experience working with computerized inventory control systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours including overtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move products safely within the warehouse.
  • Perform order picking and packing duties accurately to prepare shipments for delivery.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and properly store materials in designated locations.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and barcode scanners to track inventory and update records in real time.
  • Assist with assembly line support by supplying necessary materials and components as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with safety and operational standards.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet production and shipping deadlines.
