CDU Field Service Technician I
Total Site Solutions (TSS), Georgetown, TX,. is hiring a CDU Field Service Technician I. The CDU Field Service Technician I supports the installation, startup, commissioning, and service of Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs) and associated liquid cooling infrastructure within data center environments. This entry-level role works under the direction of senior technicians and assists in executing OEM startup procedures, system testing, and commissioning documentation.

Responsibilities
Assist with installation and commissioning of CDUs, including piping tie-ins, hose connections, pump startup, and system flushing
Support execution of OEM startup checklists and manufacturer commissioning procedures
Assist in verifying flow rates, pressure readings, temperature setpoints, and alarm functionality
Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components under supervision
Support leak checks, pressure testing, and fluid quality verification
Document service activities and complete field service reports accurately
Maintain tools, meters, and calibration equipment
Adhere to all company safety standards, LOTO procedures, and site-specific requirements
Travel to customer data center sites as required
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical trade school, HVAC training, or mechanical background preferred
Basic understanding of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and electrical controls
Ability to read technical manuals and simple wiring diagrams
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to travel and work flexible schedules
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work in active data center environments (raised floors, ladder use, tight mechanical spaces)
Stand for extended periods
Frequent travel, including overnight stays
