About the role:

  • Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers.
  • Perform regular computer image, upgrades and ensure systems remain updated, which includes peripherals
  • Manage windows updates and research major update changes that could potentially affect system.
  • Perform physical moves of computing devices such as moving boxes that contain desktops and monitors from site-to-site locations, disposal of legacy equipment by loading carts to trucks.
  • Keep records of equipment sent to other sites.
  • Responsible for the departments shipping and receiving.
  • Create shipping labels.
  • Ensure proper packaging of shipped equipment.
  • Advise of stock limits and inventories as needed.
  • Setup New Hire equipment (laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, etc.).
  • Repair computer equipment and peripheral devices – Ideal candidate will need moderate computer repair skills.
  • Create knowledge articles and update process documents.

What you bring:

  • At least 2 years of Customer Service experience.
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or Business/Communication is preferred or 2 years’ experience in IT.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Self-Starter.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. consistently and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Familiar with safely working with basic hand-tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Respect for client property, workspace, privacy, security measures and best-practices.
  • Must be comfortable working on-site. This is not a remote position.
